It is that time again, the leaves start changing, the air gets cooler, and the days have a cozier feel. It is fall, and here at the salty and sweet we are totally falling for it! This fall we will be adding a new string of posts called: Falling for Fall, each post will have a different topic and take but they will all be under the central theme of fall. Since this is the first post of the new season we would like to address a few concerns. First, our leave of absence since around July. We seem to have vanished since then for no other reason then the dreaded school! But never fear we have come up with plenty of new ideas since then and posts will be falling into place each week*. Next, this blog is under construction so some features may not be working at this time , please be patient and enjoy the new additions to the blog!
If you haven't really thought about Fall Wardrobe changes, or have been stuck on what to get. I am here for you at the start of this blissful season to help with all your troubles. Wading through endless racks can be overwhelming, and when you finally find a few items you want its even more stressful picking which ones to get and picturing them in your wardrobe, I'm here with a few staples and a few standout pieces for this fall that'll be a hit this season. Dont miss out on checks and plaids, especially red and black variations of these fashionably laid back style choices. They can turn a plain outfit into an edgy, or cozy style. Next, its all about leather; leather bags, leather pants, leather phone cases. Just make sure its a dark brooding color like black or a red/gray/brown and it'll match anything. Gold is a hit in accessories but don't forget those edgy chokers! Pick a variation of tattoo choker, metal choker, or a leather cord with a dangle decal. Black is the new black for an edgy fall, but dont forget sheers, shimmers, and velvet.
Until next time,
The Salty and Sweet.
